Lemonade Goggles: A Wearable Eye-wear story.

Lemonade Goggles: A Wearable Eye-wear story.

This project just happened to be the biggest hit on my ego. Well this and the fact I could not complete a stupid trumpet.

So let us adventure through the great processes of prototyping and it's failures.

This was what my paper craft looked like when it was saved to illustrator, but because of that it is now, but it looks very aesthetically pleasing. I'll definitely remember building shapes can create interesting patterns in with rhino, shapes that would look good on posters and other applications.

Pepercraft is an amazing application, that I wish I would have utilized much better in this project.
If I had approached it before hand I could have noted the bridge was wide on my nose and that created a sight issue over my eyes. However this was not a huge oversight as I could still see through them,

These, are what will be printed, I used the human head as a reference for making the goggles.

This was a washer we printed using ninja flex, I immediately bought it after, because it has the potential for so many uses.

It hurt my face so much, I glued them upside down,  the weight should have been much lower, in this gif it is killing my face. As much as I like the steam punk look of the round glasses, a square viewer and tinier window all together may have put less pressure on my face. In the end this project did not work because I used a solenoid valve when I should have used a motor connected to a ball valve. This piece will one day be completed, for now it remains a prototype failure.
